Meet the Team

Alex Domine

Senior Advisor

Like a musical movement that never fails to make your heart burst (looking at you, Sondheim), Alex knows what it takes to resonate with an audience and compel them to action.

Part counselor, part storyteller, part CrossFit coach who can deadlift a house, Alex is the kind of partner who can spot a pattern in a pile of Post-its. He earned his MBA after studying journalism and music, both of which sharpened his mind for detecting meaningful undercurrents.

A professor once said musicians often become researchers for their pattern recognition skills. Alex took that to heart, turning curiosity into a career of decoding what people mean (even when they can’t quite put it to words).

Before joining JayRay, Alex helped shape communications for institutions across the region, including Charles Wright Academy and Pacific Lutheran University, as well as the Washington Environmental Council. As a former marketing director and public affairs strategist, he knows how to turn operational goals and legislative nuances into messages that mobilize communities.

The secret ingredient only Alex can bring to a team?

Whether it’s a branding brief, a crisis comms plan or a cinematic new take on content creation, Alex can sense the emotional tone of a project before anyone puts words to it. Some call it a vibe check — Alex calls it intuition. Less “managing accounts,” more “conducting an orchestra,” coaxing out the very best from a purpose-driven crew with one masterful, meaningful flourish.

Outside the office, you’ll find Alex getting a jog in before breakfast or channeling calculated precision into a perfectly timed playlist.
