After years of steady growth, Parametrix needed a brand identity that reflected the strength of its culture and momentum. Through deep research and employee-owner engagement, JayRay uncovered a clear truth: the promise was strong, but the visuals lagged. We refreshed the identity, evolved the tagline and produced an anthem story to align legacy, innovation and people-first values during a pivotal leadership transition.

For Parametrix, honoring legacy while visually signaling progress was essential to carrying its employee-owner spirit forward.

We modernized Parametrix’s visual identity by developing a refreshed logo informed by a brand committee, regional focus groups and employee-owner input. The updated system preserved recognizable legacy elements while introducing a more confident, future-facing design language.

Our process began with surveys, interviews, workshops, focus groups and competitive analysis to understand how employee-owners and customers experienced the brand from the inside out. Those insights shaped the brand’s personality, position and promise before any visual decisions were made.
We balanced continuity with evolution, retaining familiar cues while introducing modern treatments. On-site filming across West Coast job sites captured real projects and real people, ensuring the refreshed brand felt authentic, grounded and unmistakably Parametrix.
