Regional Tourism Projects Earn MarCom Awards

November 20, 2024

Design projects for two JayRay tourism clients earned recognition in the annual MarCom Awards.

For Visit Gig Harbor, a newly minted tourism program, we created a logo and marketing campaign inviting visitors to unwind in small town splendor. Partnering with Gig Harbor’s Chamber of Commerce, we developed a visual identity that reflected the city’s scenery and maritime legacy. The same vibe carried over to the photo shoot we conducted.

Visit Kitsap Peninsula serves as the destination marketing organization for Washington’s Kitsap Peninsula, spanning over 10 communities. JayRay redesigned the destination’s website with large, engaging photos, an easy-to-use events calendar and improved user accessibility. Site visitors learn about the peninsula’s outdoor activities, native cultures, waterfront areas, arts, entertainment and dining options.

The MarCom Awards started in 2004 and is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). More than 6,500 print and digital entries from 53 countries were entered this year.
