Job seekers in North Central Washington now have an easier path to employment resources with the new SkillSource website.
JayRay created the site map for easier navigation, wrote content and designed the pages. With our website development partner we built the site in WordPress so SkillSource staff could update and manage content as needed.
SkillSource helps people get established in the workforce, retrain for a new career or upskill for a promotion. The organization also partners with schools and companies to make sure education and training delivers the skills employers want.
One benefit of the new SkillSource website is an events calendar that allows people to find classes, job fairs and other events across the region. We created a consolidated calendar that is fed by separate Google scheduling calendars from each of the four local centers, keeping the workstream seamless for staff.
The new website features the services available through offices in Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Othello and Omak. It also contains a resource hub for students and SkillSource staff.
We leveraged SkillSource’s existing success stories that were buried in reports not often seen by the public. The personal stories appear throughout the new website, highlighting the ways SkillSource helped individuals in their educational and career goals.
