Alex Domine, JayRay’s newest team member, brings experience in communication strategy for causes from education to the environment to equity, and in sectors spanning nonprofits, technology and economic development.
Domine most recently worked as communications director at Charles Wright Academy and will work with various JayRay clients.
“Alex impressed us all with his broad range of interests on top of solid strategic communication accomplishments,” said Kathleen Deakins, JayRay president. “His creative mind and analytical chops will serve JayRay and our clients well.”
Domine led the coordinated communication strategy across allied advocacy groups at the Washington Environmental Council.
In other roles Domine has improved organizations’ success through website management, internal communications, media relations, fundraising and event marketing. While serving on various committees he advised on communication strategy for sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion issues.
Domine earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pacific Lutheran University, in addition to a Bachelor of Musical Arts.
A committed lifelong Tacoman and active community member, he is a vocal coach and has volunteered with groups advocating for human rights and children with special needs.
