After two decades of building her marketing career in the Atlanta area, Tacoma native Phyllis McElroy joins JayRay as an advisor. Her experience in digital marketing includes campaigns for national brands and nonprofits.
McElroy most recently worked as a freelance digital marketing director and will work with various JayRay clients.
“We’re eager to bring Phyllis’ national perspective on digital marketing and branding to clients,” said Kathleen Deakins, JayRay president. “Her enthusiasm for the community and the profession makes her a great addition to our team.”
Before joining JayRay, McElroy worked for Atlanta-based agency Beverage Food Group Communications. She managed all things social media for brands such as Church’s Chicken, Ellio’s Pizza, Sutter Home Wines and Menage a Trois Wines.
McElroy earned a master of communications, public relations at Lasell College and bachelor of business administration from Georgia State University.
Phyllis recently returned to her hometown of Tacoma and volunteers with organizations to bring awareness to issues that plague underserved communities.
