Back to school time comes with even more after school activities in Tacoma this year. Tacoma Public Schools (TPS) and dozens of community partners have collaborated to create Beyond the Bell for elementary and middle school students.
The new program allows families to discover and register for affordable activities offered by community organizations all in one place. Included are sports, clubs and activities, field trips and childcare. Activities are hosted at local public schools and available before and after classes, as well as on in-service days.
