JayRay’s summer intern, Vanessa Sundita, is helping with a variety of web, research, and PR projects while applying her background in UX design and marketing.
Sundita recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Communication and minored in Innovation and Design at the University of Washington Tacoma. She most recently worked as a front desk assistant for UWT’s Student Life.
“Vanessa jumped right in to help with everything from web banners to surveys and news releases,” said Joyce Glavish, intern supervisor. “She has added to brainstorming sessions and has smart social media insights.”
Previously, Sundita served as the president and Marketing Coordinator of the Filipino-American Student Association, digital-content creator for the User-Experience Design Association, multimedia assistant for ASUWT, and web design intern for Reign Management.
A Tacoma resident, she has volunteered for local organizations and held fundraisers for causes overseas. Sundita’s hobbies include powerlifting and drawing.
