Red Canoe Credit Union was growing and wanted a fresh campaign and complementary brand collateral to make a splash in a more competitive market. Creative would have to work hard as both digital display and out-of-home.
We started with employee research and brand voice strategy and then progressed into developing a campaign complete with a flexible design system. It was important that the advertising build brand awareness – especially in the credit union’s newer markets. The oar became an important visual tool. We also wanted to focus on 1) a theme we heard over and over again – the importance of developing member relationships 2) differentiating from banks.
KPIs have proven progress toward Red Canoe’s larger membership and product goals so far. The Red Canoe marketing team is also happy to have a campaign and design system they can use to spin up new creative more easily.
