How do you stand out as a tourism destination among dozens of Pacific Northwest port towns when you share a name with a more famous destination just hours away? Visit Vancouver USA chose JayRay to lead a branding effort to help solve this dilemma.

“Every community has a distinct personality and promise. We work with community leaders to reveal their brand and focus on what sets them apart,” said Kathleen Deakins, JayRay president. “Vancouver has an amazing history. It’s also developing an incredible waterfront entertainment destination. We’re pleased to partner with this dynamic city.”

JayRay is engaging a branding committee of Vancouver and Clark County leaders in a series of interactive activities to define the destination’s strengths, characteristics and true nature. The community and Vancouver visitors will contribute to the branding process through focus groups, online surveys and one-on-one interviews.

JayRay has led branding for a number of Pacific Northwest destinations and organizations including Symphony Tacoma, Tacoma Public Schools, South Sound Proud and Experience Olympia & Beyond.
