Spring Cleaning, but Make It Digital
Spring arrives with a fresh slate of website work for the JayRay team. From an accessibility review to entirely new site designs, we’re splashing through the season with creative and technical projects:
Tacoma On the Go (formerly Downtown On the Go) will debut a new website this spring. TOTG’s vision is a Tacoma where everyone can walk, ride, bike and roll with dignity. We’re working with the TOTG team on a user-friendly website focused on resources, connection and advocacy opportunities.
TOTG recently completed its three-year strategic plan, and JayRay is designing the final document to present the strategy in a clear, engaging format to share with the community.
The Thurston County Stream Team helps residents keep streets and waterways clean. Their website shares tips, programs and volunteer opportunities — but after years of use, the site itself needed a little streamlining. JayRay originally built the Stream Team website and is back this spring to conduct an accessibility audit and refresh the design.
The digital story of the Maritime Washington National Heritage Area is expanding. As part of the program’s “Sea and Story” outreach, we’re creating a new website section focused on Indigenous presence along Washington’s saltwater shores. We’re collaborating with Tribes and tribal liaisons to guide artistry and multimedia content. The pages will include audio recordings and pronunciation guidance, alongside artwork by tribal artists. This is an update to the original brand and website designed by JayRay.
The JayRay website is getting a glow-up, too. A refreshed site is coming soon! We’ve flipped the red chair upside down for a new perspective on how we tell our story and welcome future partnerships.
